Martha Cosby Carmichael, age 94, of Selma, died Sunday October 9, 2011. She is survived by her sons, Pierson Cosby Carmichael, James Kendrick Carmichael; daughters, Shelby C. High, Martha Jean C. Pierce and Judith C. O’Connor.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday October 18, 2011 at Houston Park Church of Christ with Minister Tom McLemore officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing and burial following in New Live Oak Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Monday October 17, 2011 and from 1-2 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
