Track results roll in for AISA meet

Early results for the AISA state track meet at Memorial Stadium are beginning to roll in.
On the girl’s side, Autauga Academy’s Tyler Moretz took first place in the shotput with a throw of 31 feet, five inches.
Hooper Academy’s Elissa Cargisle won the discuss with a throw of 83 feet, 6.5 inches. Lee Scott’s Hayden Robinson won first in the longjump with a leap of 14 feet, 6 inches and another Lee Scott competitor, Abigail Maddox, took first place in the triple jum at 31 feet, 1.5 inches.
In the overall standings, Lee SCott leads with 58 points, followed by Morgan with 31 and Prattville Christian with 30.
For the boys, Hunter Rogers took first place in the shotput with a throw of 44 feet, 3 inches. Escambia’s Jaylen Henry won the longjump at 22 feet, 8.75 inches and Tuscaloosa Academy’s Koden Burt took first in the triple jump at 40 feet, 10.5 inches.
Tim Littrell of Kingwood Christian took first place in the discuss with a throw of 125 feet, 10.5 inches.
Tuscaloosa Academy leads the overall standings with 52 points, followed by Lee Scott with 40 and Kingwood Christian with 26.5.
