The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s state troopers are investigating a crash Thursday morning involving an 18 wheeler just west of Selma on U.S. 80.

ALEA released the following information;

A single-vehicle crash involving a commercial vehicle that occurred at approximately 6:26 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, has caused a lane closure. The eastbound lanes of U.S. 80 near the 72 mile marker in Dallas County are currently blocked and will be for an undetermined amount of time. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division are currently on scene investigating and will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates accordingly.”
