Alma Lucille Dollar Young, age 90, died Wednesday September 2, 2009. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Becky Young Plunkett, husband, Reverend William H. Young, and her brother, Otis Dollar, Jr. Survivors include, Sons, Bill Young (Carla), Tim Young (Barbara), Son-in-law, Danny Plunkett Grandchildren, Seth Young (Dana), Ryan Young (Dann), Donna Jones, Traci Lowry, Davin Young, (Andrea),Betsy Young Jenny Letner (Rick), Robbie Plunkett (Cassie), Matt Plunkett (Amy), Sister, Christine Stevenson, Niece, Sandra and Lewis Liggett.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday September 5, 2009 at Pisgah Presbyterian Church with Reverend Ira Blanchard officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the grandchildren. The family would like to say special thanks to the Staff of Vaughan Regional Medical Center for their outstanding care and to the congregations of Mt. Pleasant and Pigah Presbyterian for accepting her into their hearts and homes. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery Fund.
