Juanita McCauley Ratcliffe, age 92, of Selma, died Sunday March 15, 2009 at a local nursing home. She was preceded in death by her husband; Edgar L. Ratcliffe, Jr., father; Felix Mixon McCauley, mother; Bertha Herrod McCauley, sisters; Marion Louise McCauley and Margaret Frances McCauley. Survivors include her son David L. Ratcliffe of Mobile, sisters; Jean M. Prince of Selma, Betty Ann (Rupert) Long of Ofallon, IL, brothers-in-law; Jeff G. (Bessie) Ratcilffe of Selma, Rufus (Lynn) Ratcliffe of Chardon, OH, three nephews; four nieces; grand nephews and grand nieces.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday March 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery with Reverend Cecil William-son officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.
Juanita was a longtime member of Woodland Heights Presbyterian Church and served as Cub Scout den mother.
