Trisha Ellis, 43, passed away in her home in Clanton, Alabama on Monday, January 26, 2009. She was a dedicated mother and her children always came first.
A private memorial service was held on Saturday at Lime Springs Methodist Church at 4pm with the Rev. Jim Shannon officiating. She was preceded in death by her son, Chris Ellis, and brother, William McGlaughn.
Survivors include her father, James McGlaughn (J.C.) of Clanton and mother, Patricia Burton of Selma; daughters, Debra Sanders (Michael) of Selma and Teresa Ellis of Fort Myers, FL; son, Peter Ellis of Clanton; sisters, Lisa Browder of Selma, Terri Lackey of Boaz, Sherri Seaton (Jerry) of Douglas, Denise Green (Peanut) of Snead, and Sonia Bal-lew (Ty) of Clanton; granddaughter, Hailey Sanders and grandson, Scott Sanders, both of Selma; and other family members.
