Eleanor Fuller

Eleanor Fuller, 81, of Sprott, Alabama. Eleanor Fuller passed away from this life October 23, 2008 at her home in Sprott, Alabama. Mrs. Fuller was born Jan. 24, 1927 in Butler County to Jack and Pinkie Mae Baldwin Armstrong. She was a Postmaster for the United States Post Office for thirty-two years. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cecil M. Fuller, and two brothers, Pete and Joe Armstrong.
She is survived by two daughters, Rheta Hughey and her husband Dale of Birmingham, Julie Kelly and her husband Johnny of Hueytown, one son Randy Fuller and his wife Tammy of Birmingham, one sister Margaret Whittle and Lamar of Andalusia and one brother Rufus Armstrong and Marie of Andalusia. Grandchildren, Jill Harper (Shane) of White Plains, AL, Jan Hughey, Rob Tibbs, Russ Tibbs, Grace Fuller, LeeAnne Fuller, and Matthew Fuller all of Birmingham; Great Grandchildren, Brittany Harper and Bailey Harper of White Plains, AL; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Fuller will be Sunday, October 26, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Pine Flat Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday night at Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel from 6-8p.m.
The Reverend Michael Brooks will be officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing. The family would like to thank Eleanor’s caregivers for the loyalty, love, and care they have shown Eleanor and her family: Chris Johnson, Maeberta Hatcher, Sally Brooks, and Pat Brooks.
