David L. Dixon, 54, of Dallas Co. died Monday, September 22, 2008 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for 2 pm, Sunday, September 28 at New Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. D.M. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery under the direction of Miller Funeral Service.
Survivors include his wife, Daisy L. Dixon; mother, Erama Dixon; three sons, Wesley Jones- East Point, GA, Tony (Cicley) Green, Montgomery, AL, and Specialist Marcus Dudley, Camp Striker, Iraq; three daughters, Deanna (Nathan) Brooks, Plano, IL, Sharon (Anthony) Tubbs, Temple, TX, and Tomeka Waters, Hinesville, GA; four brothers, Eddie (Margaret) Dixon, James (Annie Nell) Dixon, both of Selma, AL, Leon Dixon, and Cleophus (Shirley) Dixon of Marion Junction, AL; five sisters, Elizabeth (Allen) Gantt, Annie Mae (Robert) Scott, Minister Cherry Finley, Selma, AL, Crystal Harvel, Marion Junction, AL, and Rosia (Frank) Cunningham, Selma, AL; nine grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law, nine brothers-in-law; a sister-in-law, and a host of nieces and nephews.
