Mrs. Melissa S. Lamb, 83, of Detroit, Michigan, formerly of Coatopa, Alabama passed October 8, 2005 at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 1 pm at the Dugg Hill Primitive Baptist Church, Coatopa, Alabama. Rev. John Sanders, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

Family hour will be held Saturday from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm at the church.

Frankie Ellis Martin, 67, of Selma, Al died October 12, 2005 at Jackson Hospital.

Services are scheduled for Saturday; October 15, 2005 at 2:00 pm at the Mt. Arart Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Charles Bennett. Burial will follow in Athen’s Cemetery, Orrville, Al. Directed by Miller’s Funeral Home.

Survivors include: five sons, Grover Lee Martin Jr. (Diane Minor), TheArthur Martin (Mary Kelley), Jessie James Martin (Emma Courtland), Bernard (Daphne) Martin, Anthony Martin (Joyce Carter); four daughters, Lena Mae Martin (Edward Nelson), Fannie (Vexeey) Rolland, Frankie Mae Martin, Aitisha (Warren) Leshore; one brother, Lorenzo Ellis, 22 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Tynette Williams, 68, of Selma, Al., passed October 11, 2005 at Brookwood Medical Ct., Birmingham, Al.

Services are scheduled for October 15 at 1 pm at Queen of Peace Catholic Church officiated by Fr. Carroll Ploude. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery. Directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Homes.

Survivors include her spouse, Emmittee Williams; two sons, Emmittee Williams Jr., and Calvin Williams; one daughter, Valerie W. Perkins; one brother, Jesse (Erlene) Douglas of California; five sisters, Mary Acoff, Parilee Anderson of Selma, Frozenia (Michael) Hines of Las Vegas, Essie (Randy) Weaver, Katie (Thomas) Garland of California; eight grandchildren, three step grand-children, four brothers-in-law, five sisters-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends and family.
