As a way to show appreciation to long-time customers and promote its new menu, the Pizza Hut restaurant on Highland Avenue is hosting a pep rally today before the Selma/ Southside football game.
Roosevelt Johnson, the Pizza Hut general manager, said the pep rally is a way to &8220;re-introduce&8221; the restaurant to local residents.
At the pep rally, set to take place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Johnson said both the Selma High and Southside High bands will play. There will also be a live radio remote and prize give-always.
Johnson said Pizza Hut will be giving away pizzas, along with introducing the new twisted-crust pizza.
