A search warrant brought two Selmians into custody on Friday for allegedly trafficking cocaine.

Law enforcement officers apprehended Marquita Lanette Harris, 19, and Frederick Dewayne Graves, 30, around 3:30 p.m. Friday at a Pollard Street address. Three ounces of what appeared to be crack-cocaine were found along with two handguns and $1,805 in cash. Both were charged with unlawful distribution of a controlled substance and sent to the Dallas County Jail.

Graves was given a $500,000 bond; Harris $250,000.

According to Evans, an ongoing narcotics investigation led to the search warrant.

Selma Narcotics Division officers Detective Mike Palmer, Tommy Buford, Sgt. Jimmy Martin and Lt. John Brock took part in the arrests. Patrol Division officers Ray Moore and David Hopkins along with Dallas County Sheriff’s Department Investigator Nash Gipson assisted.
