Elaine Fuller Reese, of Selma, AL died Monday, May 16, 2005, at a local hospital.

Memorial services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2005, at Ellwood Community Church, with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Captain T. L. Green

Captain T. L. Green, 77, of Selma, passed away May 17, 2005, at a local hospital.

Funeral services will be Friday, May 20, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Summerfield Baptist Church with Rev. Tommy Fancher officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Interment will be at Antioch Methodist Church in Maplesville, AL.

Visitation will be Thursday, May 19, 2005 at 6-8:00 p.m. at Summerfield Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Doris Davis Green; three daughters, Ila Jean (Eddie Frank) Thornton, Genett (Buddy) Bullard and Anita K. Hopkins all of Selma, AL; one son, Gary (Linda) Green of Selma, AL; one brother, Julius J. (Ruth) Green of Saraland, AL; three sisters, Frances (Lyle) Waltz, Gertie Lee (Joseph) Bills of Selma, AL and Ruth Kilmurray of Sumter, SC; twelve grandchildren Edie (Eddie) Eubanks of Eufaula, AL, Frank (Jennifer) Thornton, Edwin (Dede) Thornton, Anthony (Brandi) Draime, Chad Draime, Brad Draime, Melanie (Tommy) Smitherman, Stephanie (John) McDonald, Amy Green, Phillip Green, Edward (Jennifer) Hopkins and Melissa Hopkins all of Selma, AL; 8 great grandchildren, Clay Thornton, Hannah Grace Thornton Sarah Kaitlyn Eubanks, Ed Eubanks, Austin McDonald, Thomas Smitherman, Chandler Draime, Caleb Hopkins and unborn baby, Joseph Draime III all of Selma, AL.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera Kemp, his father, William Thomas Green, two sisters, Janice Pace and Agnes Simmons; one brother, Robert Green, and two son-in-laws, Joseph Draime and Eddie Hopkins.

Pallbearers will be Frank Thornton, Edwin Thornton, Edward Hopkins, Phillip Green, Anthony Draime, Chad Draime, Brad Draime, Tommy Smitherman and John McDonald.

Captain Green was a member and deacon of Summerfield Baptist Church and had 30 years of service with the Selma Police Department.
