Pamela Denise Martin

Pamela Denise Martin, 39, of Selma, died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2003, at a Birmingham hospital.

Services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at Elbethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe J. Peterson officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Martin; parents, Oben, Alice Pritchett; two sons, Stoney Pritchett and Rodney Martin; one daughter, Danielle Martin; two brothers, Calvin Pritchett and Michael Pritchett; three sisters, Mary Davis, Evelyn Lakes and Lula Waters; two brothers-in-law; two sisters-in-law; eight nephews; three nieces.

Active pallbearers are family and friends.

Honorary pallbearers are Kappa Alpha Psi Inc.

Mrs. Martin was a teacher’s aid at Day Care Kids or Kids.

Glady Freeman Walker

Gladys Freeman Walker, 59, of Selma, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2003, at a local hospital.

Services are at noon, Saturday, Aug. 30, at Houston Park Church of Christ with Bro. Gordon Gibbs officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her husband, Herman Walker; one daughter, Stephanie Walker Perkins (Clyde); two brothers, Marion Freeman (Margaret) and Willie Freeman; one sister, Jean Freeman Collins (Ivory); two grandchildren, Tiffany Masha’ Perkins and Clyde Stephen Perkins; one son-in-law; five brothers-in-law; three sisters-in-law; 17 nephews; and 15 nieces.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Isiah Freeman Jr.

Active pallbearers are Tarrance Freeman, Marion Freeman Jr., Noel Freeman, Patrick Freeman and Phillip Laister.

Barnette Morgan Campbell

Barnette Morgan Campbell, 73, of Selma, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, at a local hospital.

Services are at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with John D. Collins officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her husband, William T. Campbell; son, Leonard T. (Marilyn) Campbell of Calera; daughter, Misty (Jodie) Channell of Maylene; and great-grandson, Tristin Channell.

She was preceded in death her brothers Owen and James Morgan.

Family visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
