Ernest H. (Nuke) Gooden, 58, of Selma, passed away Nov. 23, 2015, at his home. Services are scheduled for Nov. 28, 2015, at noon at Fresh Anointing Houlse of Worship with pastor Coley Chestnut officiating.

Burial will follow in Lorenzo Harrison Memorial Garden with Miller Funeral Service directing. He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Gooden.

He is survived by his spouse,Betty J. Gooden; mother, Arie Johnson; stepson, Kenneth (Bernice) Brown; daughter, Samantha (Horace) Gresham; two stepdaughters, Jeannetta Brown of Selma and Carolyn (Richard) Mitchell of Selma; two brothers, Richard (Mary Frances) Bailey Sr. and Calvin (Bernice) Rozzell; two sisters, Eunice Ellis of Selma and Corrine Effinger of Selma; 12 grandchilren; 11 great grandchildren; two sons-in-law; one daughter-in-law; six brothers-in-law; four sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family.
