Mrs. Dorothy B. Morris, age 90, of Douglasville, GA passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2014. She was born July 20, 1924 in Selma, AL. Mrs. Morris was formerly of Selma, AL. and Somerset, KY. She was a long-time member of the Methodist faith.

Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Morris, Sr. parents Charles and Gladys Buxton as well as brother Charles W. Buxton, Jr.

Mrs. Morris is survived by her son Robert (Bettie) C. Morris, Jr., daughter Charlene (Allen K.) Watt, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

The family will have a private family graveside service at 2:00 PM (CT) at New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma, AL. on Friday, November 28, 2014.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy’s honor to the West Highland United Methodist Church, 116 Jackson Street Selma, AL. 36701.
