Ms. Geraldine Ross, 72 of Dallas County, Alabama, died on November 1, 2014, at St. Francis, Columbus, Georgia. Services will be held on Monday, November 10, 2014 at 1 p.m. at the Church of Christian Prayer with Rev. Emmett Henry officiating.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Edd Burden Sr. and Mary Burden.

She is survived by her husband, Mr. James Ross; two sons, Byron Ross and Derek Ross, both of Phenix City, Alabama; three daughters, Michelle Burden-Effinger of Fort Mitchell, Alabama, Wanda Rivers, of Birmingham, Alabama and Karen Burden of Phenix City, Alabama; two brothers, Redd Burden Jr., (Blanche) of Hemet, Georgia and Booker T. Burden (Carolyn) of Selma, Alabama; Eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
