Helen Hicks Nichols of Selma, passed away on Wednesday September 24, 2014.

She is preceded in death by her husband: W. D. “Cotton” Nichols; parents: John and Mernie Hicks; brother: John Dewey hicks, Jr.

She is survived by her son: Ken Nichols (Sandy) of Thorsby, AL, her daughter, Jerri Sheehan (Randy) of Selma, his five grandchildren, David Nichols (Suzie), Kristi Wyatt (Robby), Justin Nichols (Allison), Ashley Smith, John Sheehan(Tiffany) and her 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday from 12 – 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be David Nichols, Justin Nichols, John Sheehan, Tim Johnson, Roy Freine, and Barney Parson.
