James (Jim) Hardy, 89, resident of Sardis, AL. passed away July 30, 2014 in Sardis, AL. Services will be held Saturday, August 9,2014, 11:00 a.m. at Tabernacle of Praise officiated by Bishop Fredrick Hardy, Sr. Burial will follow in Town Creek Cemetery directed by Walker Mortuary.

He was preceded in death by wife, Rosie Nell Simpson Hardy; son, Jim Hardy Jr.; parents, Jessie and Georgia Honsby Hardy.

Survivors include son, Pastor Russell Hardy Sr.; daughters, Georgia brown, Carolyn Hardy; twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, one son-in-law, two daughters-in-laws, one brother-in-law,three sisters-in-laws, a host of nieces and nephews.
