Mr. Danny Allen Dean, age 66, a resident of Millbrook, AL passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 2 p.m. from Millbrook First United Methodist Church with Dr. Nathan Attwood officiating. He will lie in state from 1-2 p.m. at the church. The interment will follow at Brookside Memorial Gardens. Mr. Dean was a member of Millbrook First United Methodist Church and the Friendship Sunday School Class. He was retired from Amerigas Propane Company. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Martha Dean of Millbrook, AL, sons, Chad Dean (Heidi) of Prattville, AL, Scott Dean (Carrie) of Prattville, AL, grandchildren Sophie Dean and Chloe Dean both of Prattville, AL, brother in law Roger DeVaughn (Sheila) of Crandall, GA. Pallbearers will be, Jeremy Quates, Terry Quates, Roger DeVaughn Jr, Mitchell DeVaughn, Rusty Simmons and Lee Robertson. The family would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to Dr. Keith Thompson and staff of Montgomery Cancer Center and Melissa Cobb and staff of Baptist Hospice for all their care and support during this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Millbrook First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 3350 Edgewood Road, Millbrook, AL 36054, in his memory. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
