Mr. Herman Lewis, 84, resident of Selma, passed away October 24,2013 at Jackson Hospital, Montgomery. Services are scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Lily Grove Baptist church officiated by Pastor Michael Dillard. Burial will follow in Tyus Family Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include sons, Melvin (Pauline) Lewis, David (Melinda) Lewis, Jerry (Diane) Lewis, Jessie James Lewis, and Jeffrey Wayne Lewis; brothers, Minister David (Maggie) Moss, Henry Thomas, Clifford Anderson, and David Earl Price; sisters, Daisy (Thomas) Quincy, Peggy Lewis, Sandra Lewis, Shirley Lewis, cousin raised as a sister, Willie Mae Tyus; eleven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
