Kimberly Wilkerson Carter, age 50 of Saltillo, MS formerly of Selma, AL went home to be with the Lord on October 10, 2013 after a brief illness. She was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She thoroughly enjoyed her work as a home health nurse with Gentiva Hospice. She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Wilkerson; grandmother, Martha Roberts; brother, Kenneth Wilkerson. Kimberly is survived by her husband, Barry Carter; son, Chase (Jeanna) Jackson; daughter, Lindsey (Jon) Walker; Step-children, Brian (LeAnn) Carter, Brandie Ling, Jared Carter, Nikkie Carter, and Garrett Carter; step-grandchildren, Emily Kate and Lauren Carter, J C and Bailey Ling, Kaylee and Alex Wilkinson; mother, Virginia Wilkerson Harris; sister, Judy (Jim) Saye and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
