George “Darling” Thomas Sr., 78, resident of Minter, passed away July 3, 2013 at Park Place Rehabilitation. Services are acheduled for July 13, 2013, 12:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Roderick Albritton. Burial will follow in church cemetery directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

He was preceded in death by parents, Carrie and Frank Thomas; son, George Thomas Jr.

Survivors includes his devoted wife, Annie Mae Thomas; sons, Frank Snow, Minter, AL, Johnny (Gwen) Ingram, Hawthorne, Fla.; daughters, Geraldine (Benjamin) Craig, Selma, AL, Shirley Foster and Linda Thomas, Selma, AL; God-daughter, Donna Ceaser, Dutchboard, AL; sisters, Carrie Pearl Soles, Minter, AL, Chester Mae Tilson, Blounts Town, Fla.; one son-in-law, two daughters-in-laws, six brothers-in-laws, eight sisters-in-laws.
