Mr. James E. Sanders Sr., 83, resident of Marion, Alabama, passed away June 18, 2013 at DCH Health Systems. Services are scheduled for Sunday, June 23, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at Zion United Methodist Church officiated by Rev. Bobby Sanders. Burial will follow in Marion City Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include spouse, Mrs. Jannie L. Sanders; four sons, James Sanders Jr., John Sanders, Lloyd Sanders, and Bobby Sanders; five daughters, Carolyn Jones, Rosie Brand, Josephine Brand, and Christine Mixon; three brothers, William Sanders, Charles Sanders, and John Sanders; three sisters, Arlover Colgram, Evelyn Sanders, and Golder Stein Sanders; twenty nine grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, friends; God Son, Rev. Glen King.
