Thank goodness for honest people in Selma

Dear Editor,

I was in Selma for the Alabama Independent School Association’s state golf tournament at the Selma Country Club at the end of my April. My grandson, Hutson Breckenridge qualified for the tournament.

During our visit, my family and I stopped at Hancock’s BBQ for lunch.

When we left, I left my billfold at the table.

The people at Hancock’s found it and they called me at my home, even before I got home.

Thank goodness for honest people. They were wonderful.

It is great to know that we still have honest and nice people this day and time.

The people at Hancock’s saved my billfold for me until I picked up the next day.
