Mr. Alfonso Green, 66, resident of Selma, passed away February 16, 2013 at Warren Manor Nursing Home. Services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013, 12:00 noon at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Dr. L.L. Ruffin. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery directed by Miller Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include spouse, Joann Green; sons, Tyrone (Dorothy) Stewart, Alonzo (Cynthia) Green, Alfonso hunter, and Michael Green; daughters, Vivian Green Thompson, Trina Hunter, Sharon (Warren) Oliver, and Chiquita Stewart; brother, Marvin Green; sisters, Elizabeth (Junior) Green Holiday, Georgia Ann Green; uncle, Sgt. George Green; twenty eight grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews.
