Barnette Lewis Hayes, resident of Selma, passed away January 13, 2013 in Selma. Services will be announced at a later date by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

    I want to share my heartfelt condolences at the death of your
    love one. May her soul rest in peace. I remember her as being a
    wonderful, caring person. I had not seen her in a while until 2006 and we
    reconnected and shared many conversations almost daily, I received
    a message from her about a month ago.I am saddened to think that
    I won’t have an opportunity to see or hear from Mrs Barnette Lewis Hayes
    again.
