General Tarver, 72, resident o Selma, passed away January 1, 2013 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center. Services are scheduled for Sunday, January 6, 2013, 1:30 p.m. at Second Baptist Missionary Church officiated by Rev. Darryl Moore. Burial will follow in Isabella Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Mille Funeral Service of Selma.

Survivors include spouse, Bernice Tarver; three sons, James (Mary) Tarver, William Tarver, Sr., an Cedric Tarver; one daughter, Maxine Tarver; two brothers, Fletcher (Florence) McArthur an Levi (Laura) Tarver; one sister, Dora Davis; three grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, three sisters-in-laws.

Pallbearers will be nephews and friends.
