Rosie M. Reed, 81, resident of Selma, passed away November 24, 2012 at Vaughan Regional Hospital. Services are scheduled for Saturday, December 1, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at John the Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Curtis Williams. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery directed by Miller funeral Service of Selma.

She was preceded in death by spouse Andrew Reed Sr.; parents Wash Mass and Luvenia Dumas.

Survivors include five sons, Joe James Evans, Curtis Reed, Jimmie Reed Sr. of Detroit, MI., Johnny Reed and JC Reed of Selma, AL; one daughter, Flora M. Scott; one sister, Lula Mae Smith; twenty grandchildren, thirty five great grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be children and grandchildren.
