Robert Cecil Jones, Jr., 69, of Ridgeland, died Friday, November 25, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 28, 2011 at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Bobby was born in Selma, AL to Sara Elizabeth and Robert Cecil Jones on July 2, 1942. He spent most of his life in and around Selma until moving to Jackson years ago to be near his children and grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Lewis Beverly.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Susan Jones and his children, Alex (LaSonia) Jones, Lisa (Andy) Joyce and Lori (Scotty) Richardson all of Clinton; step-son, Chris (Patricia) Gunn of San Antonio, TX and 9 grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters, Shelia (John) Buck of Melbourne, FL; Frances (John) Waggoner of Austin, TX; Charlotte Perry of Selma, AL; brother, Billy (Annette) Kezer of Montgomery, AL; sister-in-law, Kim Beverly and many nieces and nephews.

Bobby served in the US Air Force and was a Vietnam veteran. He enjoyed softball and bowling.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to Community Place Nursing Home Building Fund.
