Four people were injured during two shootings that occurred last weekend.

According to Selma Police Lt. Ray Blanks, Amarys Williams, 34, was shot on June 2 around 10:36 p.m. at the 2000 block of Deer Ridge Avenue.

Blanks said that Williams was shot multiple times while sitting inside her vehicle. He said suspects fired shots from a Gray SUV and Williams is in critical condition.

Blanks said that a second shooting took place on June 3 at  the 200 block of North Mechanic Street around 10 p.m., which three African-American men were shot.

Blanks identified the victims: Trevon Lewis, 23, Anthony Webster, 35,  and Reshawn Woods, 29.  Blanks said that Lewis was shot in both legs. Webster was shot in the back and left arm. Woods was shot in the left ankle.

Blanks said that multiple shell casings  were collected at the crime scene and two unoccupied vehicles shot into two vehicles.

All three victims were transported to the Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Both incidents remain under investigation by the SPD.
