Mr. L.C. Bender, 74, of Selma, passed away May 21, 2018 at his residence. Services are scheduled for Saturday, June 2, 2018, Noon at Selmont Community Baptist Church with the Rev. Derrick Holyfield officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Randall Miller Funeral Service directing. He is survived by his spouse, Easter M. Bender; brothers, Sam Bender and Alfred Bender; sisters, Lillie Harrell, Willie Mae Christian, Fannie L. Bender, and Maria Lamb; sister-in-law, Annie Love; 20 nieces; six nephews; host of cousins, great nieces, great nephews, and friends.
