Selma residents should expect several changes to trash and garbage pickup next week due to Memorial Day.

Selma Public Works Department will not pick up trash on Monday, May 26. Locations typically scheduled for Monday pick up will have service the following Monday, June 2.

Advanced Disposal will not have residential pick up on Monday, May 26. All Advanced Disposal residential customers will have their garbage picked up the day after their typically scheduled pick up day. As an example, those who receive service Monday will receive service Tuesday.

Pick-up of commercial dumpsters will operate on a normal schedule.

Joseph fail, a site manager with Advanced Disposal, said everyone would be back on a regular schedule starting June 2.
