Do your walls talk?

Well, not really talk, but many homes in the Selma area do have a rich history to them. And it’s that history that the producers of &uot;If Walls Could Talk,&uot; a series that features historic homes on Home and Garden Television.

The series is about old homes where the current homeowners have discovered artifacts during the restoration process, thus becoming involved in the home’s history.

And they will be visiting south Alabama and Georgia in late February looking for homes with intriguing pasts.

Sarah Wormald, a researcher for the series, said that they love discovering physical artifacts or history that the owners discovered in the process of renovation or just by chance.

They are also looking for places that have a known history that was verified or added to through discoveries of artifacts.

The series has been to Alabama before &045;&045; up in the Birmingham area a few years ago.

They are looking for five or six homes that will be narrowed down through a selection process.
