For four years Sarah Wood wore the red and white of Morgan Academy. Now, two years after her graduation from Morgan, Wood is wearing the black and yellow of Meadowview Christian.

Wood was recently named the new volleyball coach of the Lady Trojans.

The job, however, wasn’t one that she searched for &045;it came to her.

In her high school tenure, Wood played volleyball and other sports at Morgan before graduating in 2003.

She was selected as an Alabama Independent School Association All-Star.

Wood is currently enrolled at Wallace-Selma and working on an elementary education degree.

Since being named coach, Wood made one thing clear to her team &045; despite the closeness in age, her team understands that she is their coach and not their friend.
