Selma City Schools announced it has several job openings to fill before the 2024-25 school year begins.
Dr. Ozella Ford, SCS chief of school innovations, student supports and human resources, said the school system wants qualified and experienced people to fill those jobs.
“The Selma City School District is looking for highly effective applicants to join our amazing team,” Ford said.
Certified employee vacancies include college and career readiness director, high school principal, elementary principal, secondary assistant principal, prekindergarten teachers, early childhood/elementary teachers, special education self-contained teacher, special education resource teachers, physical education teacher, secondary English language arts teachers, secondary mathematics teachers, secondary history teacher, ROTC teacher, CTE automotive teacher, high school counselor, assistant middle school band director, speech therapist and JAG specialist.
Classified employee vacancies include CNP workers, CNP manager, custodian, bus drivers, internal audits and fiscal accounting coordinator, school resource officer and maintenance worker.
