The Morgan Academy Sporting Clays team competed in the state SCTP tournament on June 8 at Sellwood Farm in Montgomery.

The Senators did not finish in the top three, in the two-day tournament, but they enjoyed the competition. Casey Yeager, Harper Strickland, Travis Jones, Mason Lowe, Lil Yeager are members of the clay team. 

The clay team had several sponsors, including South Dallas Turf, Delta Waterfowl River Bend Chapter, NWTF Alabama, KFC Selma, Blackbelt Hunting Lodge, Frank Turner Construction, Children’s Dentistry of Alabama, HAR Legal, Raypress/Monte Stewart, Wagyu of Alabama and HK Gunsmith.
