The Selma Housing Authority educated residents in George Washington Carver Homes about the Choice Neighborhoods Planning Grant Initiative on June 7.

SHA executive director Kennard Randolph said the purpose of the event was getting GWC residents to learn about the initiative and embrace the opportunity.

“We want to help our GWC residents to understand the process of the Choice Neighborhoods Planning Grant Initiative,” Randolph said. “We are extremely excited about this opportunity to revitalize G.W.C. and surrounding areas. The turnout was great.”
