State Sen. Robert Stewart, D-Selma, will stop in Dallas County on Thursday at 6 p.m. at Arts Revive as part of his Summer Listening Session tour across District 23.

Stewart said that he will give a legislative update and hear from local constituents on the conditions of Selma, Valley Grande, Orrville, Plantersville and other parts of Dallas County. State agencies will also discuss local projects. 

Stewart said he will visit the other counties in District 23: Wilcox, Lowndes, Marengo, Perry, Butler, Conecuh and Monroe Counties.

On Nov. 8, 2022, Stewart defeated Republican Michael Nimmer for the District 23 State Senate seat.
