Selma man arrested for Valley Grande murder

A Selma man was murdered Monday morning in Valley Grande.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, Genesis Barnett, 21 was fatally shot at the 3700 block of Hillandale Drive. Remarion Coleman, 19, of Selma was arrested by the DCSO and charged in the incident
The DCSO believes an argument at a party led to a gunfight, in which over 20 gunshots were fired.
The incident remains under investigation by the DCSO and more arrests could be made in the future.
This is the second murder in Dallas County this year. Selma has three homicides.
