A Florida man was arrested last week for sexually abusing two juvenie girls  in Selma.

According to the Selma Police Department and state of Florida records, Adam William Hart, 30, had sexual intercourse with a 6 year old female and 15 year old female between June 18 and March 18, 2024.

Hart had sex with a 6-year-old female between June 18, 2023 and March 15, 2024.  The incident with the 6-year-old happened at the mother’s home in Dallas County while she was working at her job. Hart is charged with first degree sodomy and sexual abuse in that case.

Between June 28, 2023 through July 18, 2023, Hart  had sexual intercourse with a 15-year-old female. He is charged with first degree sodomy, second degree sodomy and second degree rape in that case.

On April 26, SPD got a tip from the Florida Department of Human Resources that Hart was living in Fanning Springs, Florida under a false name. Levy County detectives located the motel he was registered at and his vehicle based on the work conducted by the SPD. Hart was eventually taken into custody by the SPD on May 2 and extradicted in Dallas County.
