Selma man killed in two-vehicle crash

A Selma man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on April 14.

 

According to Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Timothy A. Rubin, 44, was fatally injured when the 2005 Suzuki GSX 1300R motorcycle he drove struck the rear of the 2019 Jeep Wrangler driven by Steven P. Manuel, 39, of Pike Road.  Rubin was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred around 6:45 p.m. on U.S. 80 near the 95 mile marker, about 10 miles east of Selma.

No further details are available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the accident.
