Mr. John “Slim” Walker, a resident of Marion, passed away Thursday, March 28. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6 at Marion Baptist Academy with the Rev. Odis L. Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Simpson Cemetery, with services entrusted to Melvin Miller Funeral Service.
