The National Weather Service has placed Dallas County under a tornado watch until 2 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

The watch area extends across all of central Alabama and includes all counties touching Dallas County.

The threats associated with tonight’s round of severe weather include the possibility of a few tornadoes, scattered hail up to ping pong size and wind gusts up to 65 mph.
