NWTF’s Blaster Chapter produces another strong year

The 33rd annual Super Fund and Hunting Heritage Banquet of the Selma’s Blaster Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation had another successful year.

The event was held on March 15 at the Y Not Entertainment facility, which pleased Charles Duckett of the Selma Blaster Chapter. Duckett said he is always grateful for the countless sponsors and local support.

“Our sponsors support conservation and the local community,” Duckett said. “They are devoted people and we appreciate their support.”

Selma’s Blaster Chapter has earned the “Golden Gobbler Award” every year since its charter and is one of only three chapters in the nation to achieve Golden Gobbler status for over 30 consecutive years.

“The Blaster Chapter is a great organization that supports turkey hunting,” federation member Amanda Latham-Firth said. “We also have great support from the community.”
