Alabama, Mississippi splits All-Star basketball games

Alabama narrowly missed sweeping its All-Star prep basketball series against Mississippi on March 9 at A.E. Wood Coliseum on the campus of Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi.
Keith guard Tommy Tisdale III played in the contest, scoring four points.
Mississippi won the boys’ game 78-77 despite 17 points from 6-foot-10 Caleb Harrison, a Samford University signee and Huntsville star. Harrison was named Alabama’s MVP. Adrian Wooley of Paul Bryant had 15 points and four assists for Alabama.
Alabama still leads the series 18-16.
Alabama girls 65, Mississippi 59: Hewitt-Trussville point guard Jordan Hunter, an Auburn signee, scored 25 points, with Alabama winning its seventh straight game in the series. Hunter was named Alabama MVP.
Hazel Green’s Leah Brooks, an Alabama signee, added 12 points, a game-high 14 rebounds and 3 assists.
Alabama leads the series 20-14.
