Selma City Councilman Sam Randolph was arrested Wednesday night on multiple charges of domestic violence.
According to the Selma Police Department (SPD), Randolph is charged with one count each of domestic violence endangerment, violence endangerment and domestic violence harassment.
The police report describes Randolph confronting his estranged wife who was in the car with a man. As the female pulled away, Randolph chased her.
The woman, who was not identified, went to the SPD to file charges. Randolph was brought in for questioning, but when no charges were filed, the woman went to the Dallas County Courthouse. Selma police chief Kenta Fulford said charges were filed in Dallas County and said no other information is available at this time.
Randolph was released on $15,000 bond. He attended the Selma City Council Work Session Thursday.
