Southside hammers Beulah in 3A Sub-Regionals

The Beulah boys basketball team saw their season come to an end at home on Saturday as Beulah fell to Southside-Selma 54-36.

The Bobcats’ offense stayed stuck in neutral to start the first half as Southside jumped out to a 32-14 lead at halftime. 

Beulah found life in the third quarter and cut the lead to just 12 heading into the final eight minutes of action. 

The Bobcats could not keep the momentum in the fourth period as the offense managed just eight points. 

Demarion Foreman led the way for Beulah with 16 points. No other Bobcat finished in double-digits. 

Beulah finished the season with a 12-10 record and won 3A-Area 8.
