Mrs. Julia Mae Edwards Stafford passed away at home in Rockingham, North Carolina on Jan. 17 after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Stafford was born and raised in Dallas County. She is survived by daughter, India Love and son, Robert Stafford. She has two grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She has three surviving siblings, Spencer Edwards, Annetta Bain, and Willie Dean Turman. Funeral services are scheduled for Jan. 27 in Rockingham, NC with McLendon Funeral Home in Ellerbe, NC.
