Dallas County has shown Christmas sprint during the holiday season and we are glad to see it.
The camaraderie between the cities of Selma, Orrville, Minter, Plantersville and Valley Grande were evident during the second weekend of December.
Some Selma residents made the drive and partiipcated in the Minter Christmas Parade on the morning of Dec. 9
Shortly after lunch, Valley Gramde Elementary School cheerleaders and Dallas County High School cheerleaders and band participated in the city of Selma Christmas Parade.
Orrville held its Christmas Parade before sunset and heavy rainstorm. Southside High School band, Edgewood Elementary School cheerleaders and Valley Grande Volunteer Fire Department participated.
On Dec 11, some Selma residents took part in the Valley Grande Christmas in the Park event.
We need to see more unity every day, not just for the holidays
