Valley Grande to host Christmas in the Park

The City of Valley Grande will have its annual Christmas in the Park event on Sunday at the Valley Grande Walking Trail.
The event will be held from 2 to 4 p.m.
Councilwoman Sara Day, who is in charge of the Walking Trail and Community Events, said that Santa Claus and the Grinch will be at the park and available to take pictures with the kids.
Day began work on decorating the park for Christmas before Thanksgiving. She said former Valley Grande City Councilwoman Tammy Troha helped her decorate the park for Christmas.
Valley Grande’s Christmas in the Park has always produced big crowds, even attracting Selma and Plantersville residents.
Valley Grande Mayor Wayne Labbe said he’s looking forward to Christmas in the Park.
